The Great White Hope

In this podcast, for each episode, I invite a guest to join me to discuss a movie that has boxing as a theme.

The film up for discussion today is The Great White Hope from 1970, which is a biopic of sorts of the first black heavyweight champion of the world, Jack Johnson.

Joining me to discuss the movie is returning guest Michael Kronenberg.

Michael has been with me twice previously on this podcast and has also been a guest on my other podcast, Desert Island Fights.

He's always great to talk to and I would advise anyone who hasn't already heard those episodes to go and check them out.

But today is all about The Great White Hope.

I hope you enjoy our conversation.
