The Gorge

but we've already talked about scream and i've covered so many we've covered so many movies on this podcast i wanted to do something a little different

absolutely and we love our creature features that's right so yeah let's go with um the gorge a movie that i really loved it was one of my favorites last year and um I mean, also, again, a lot of, you know, like, scenes I can bring up.

But that first assault, like, I love it.

Because I think that's where the movie takes its first turn.

Because we don't know what they're protecting down in the gorge.

We don't know.

And then these two are having a little meet-cute.

And the camera work also with their big headlights, trying to see these things and not spotting and spotting it.

Like I said, every once in a while, Apple will put out a movie that's big budget and all sorts.

They did The Gorge.

I haven't seen that one yet.

I want to see it.

I don't know if you ever saw this movie.

It was with Miles Teller, who I know I both like, but it's called The Gorge.

It was an Apple movie.

Called what? The Gorge.

G-O-R-G-E. I've heard of it.

I've heard of it.

I like Miles Teller.

Is it worth seeing?

I have watched a couple.

So I liked The Gorge.

I thought that was kinda cool.

Yeah.

He is the guy behind The Black Phone.

He has also done recently The Gorge, Doctor Strange.

I mean, he's a great writer.

And...

Spellbound, a pretty bad animated film.

The Gorge.

The Old Guard 2.

Fountain of Youth.

Sure.

Movies like Ghosted or The Gorge, which was kind of a hit for Apple, and they've done, they've had troubles in animation, uh, although they've got this Ray Gunn movie coming out with Brad Bird and Netflix, and a lot of the stuff that they have kind of looked at as wannabe franchise movies has not exactly worked.

I don't wanna, you know, pre-judge them, but it's a challenge, and I wanna ask about the tech pixie dust because that's the other element here.

Because throughout this whole process, Ellison has promised us that he has this oracle pixie dust that he's sprinkling over the entire company.
