The Gift

Yeah, I'll die on that hill.

Okay, my number three is The Gift.

one that really kind of surprised me we get Mulder back although it's a flash and a flashback it's good to see him return I just love the idea of the soul eater in this one and he is a monster of the week but there's a tragedy there with this character that I really thought was wonderfully well done a deep deep sadness to someone who was taking all of the pain onto them to allow others to live I mean it's a little bit fantastical and it's a little bit silly at moments when you think of the logic of it I suppose but I just thought it was such an interesting monster of the week where the monster wasn't a monster.

And just the fact that it gave a little bit of story to Mulder and how he was helped by it was interesting.

I still liked Invocation.

It was a solid four out of five for me, but yeah, for me, Empedocles.

The Gift puts Doggett inside the mind of Mulder and deepens his character.

Number three, Without sets up Doggett as a major player.
