The Genius of Birds

Hey, welcome back to 7-Minute Books.

I'm Sam, and today we're talking about The Genius of Birds by Jennifer Ackerman.

Sophie, I have to ask you something.

Did you grow up thinking birds were basically little wind-up toys with feathers?

And I'm never going to look at a jay hiding an acorn the same way again.

And if you want to keep going, the whole library lives at 7minutebooks.com slash app, with over 6,000 fiction and nonfiction titles you can read or listen to in any language, starting at $2.99 a month, $9.99 a year, or $19.99 once for lifetime access.

The Genius of Birds is really a book about widening our definition of a mind, and once you do that, the world gets a lot more crowded with brilliance.

We'll see you in the next one.
