The Fretliners

I had it recorded, but my daughter got married last Saturday, and I guess I just overestimated how much free time I would have with everybody getting into town and how much stuff that needed to be done for the week.

But we're back this week with Sam Parks from the Fretliners.

They have a brand new album coming out October 26th.

It's incredible.

But last night felt kind of like prime time.

And we got to play right after Bronwyn and right before Fretliners.

And we love all those musicians.

So it was really fun.

And sometimes I find it overwhelming to be looking... looking for new music just because I feel like I should and the easy way out of that for me is listening to my listening to my buddies who are cutting new tunes you know uh we've gotten to know like for instance Armchair Boogie pretty well we love those guys and they've had a couple releases in the last couple years that are really awesome and uh it's just it's interesting when you've gotten to know someone on a on a personal level throughout the years, and then you get to listen to their new music kind of through that lens.

It's pretty cool.

Also, I just wanted to mention, because I was so impressed last night, was the Fretliners, man.

They have some beautiful songs.
