We have Tal Safani, who is the CEO of the Ayn Rand Institute, the organization dedicated to advancing the ideas of one of the most influential and also controversial philosophers of the 20th century.

She wrote books like Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead.

I've read several of her.

Yeah.

books through the years, but I've never read The Fountainhead.

So I'm in the middle, probably about halfway through that.

I'm really enjoying that.

And again, I'm going to challenge myself to read some of these books from the list in our issue, just because I'm interested, you know, and I think some of them look pretty interesting.

The drummer for Rush was into Ayn Rand.

He gave me The Fountainhead.

I read it.

The Fountainhead led me to Nathaniel Branden, who led me to accepting my feelings, which is not exactly something that's d- done in Ayn Rand's novels and so on.

So you can look at all...

But it comes down to a choice.

We are talking about tens of millions of copies of her two most famous novels, Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead, just constantly in circulation.

Oh, absolutely massive influence.

And there's this statistic in the sources that completely blew my mind.

You know, you know, I have a real-life example of that.

My uncle, who is like a real-life Mike from The Fountainhead, they even look alike and they use the same colorful language.

Uh, he was, throughout his career, a basically a builder.

And, uh, he built the Olympic stadium and also the basketball court, and when he built it, they gave him something like a season, a ticket.

Safeguard Veterans.

Any door, the right support.

So the three books by Hazoni, if you put them together, I got the Fountainhead here.

They're bigger than the Fountainhead.

I mean, like, crazy stuff that you take a bong hit in your college dorm room and talk to your pretentious friends about.

Like, I don't know who else speaks this way, right? Like, this is the kind of stuff that, like, this is the Democratic equivalent of these Republicans who read The Fountainhead when they're 15 and they're like, oh, my God, I My eyes have been opened by Ayn Rand and it's like, you're an idiot and you're going to outgrow this eventually.

Well, the people who never outgrew this eventually are now going to Congress.

And they have a D next to their name.
