The Forsyte Saga

Amazing.

I mean, Sierra is, you know, we met in, we actually met doing the concept album of Love Never Dies in 2010 and then we did the show together for 18 months and um we have been you know people exaggerate oh it's my best friend it's my best friend and you know we all mean good friend or a friend Sierra is one of my best friends we speak every week since we met you know even New York to London non-stop so but we haven't actually worked together again since it could have been anything But it's the Phantom universe again.

And, you know, for her, of course, Phantom is she's the best known Christine in the world.

And it's really something, I think, for the fans to see a great Christine graduate up to playing Carlotta.

And for her, she was very... nervous actually because it's a very different type of vocal work and so she took lessons great singer though she is to make sure she could really do opera singing and of course she's doing it eight times a week perfectly for me Andre is a great, fun role, the theatre manager, but actually a harder sing than I'd envisaged.

I'm not a singer-singer.

I have, by hook or by crook, done a dozen musicals in 32 years.

Don't read music.
