The Folly of Fools

So, you know, not a, you know, wonderful role model for ethical behavior.

But He wrote a book called The Folly of Fools, which describes some of the work he did around self-deception.

And his premise is, and it's pretty well backed up, that humans are wired to deceive ourselves, to lie to ourselves.

And from his view, this stems from this.

Not, not that he has... his government doesn't do it because remember these things are always, uh... [laughs] I have a book up here by, by Robert Trivers.

It's called The Folly of Fools.

You know, Charles, if we are in the same room and I stepped on your foot, you'd say, "Oh, old man, why you, you have stepped on me?" But if some stranger did so, you'd be very angry, "You mean guy.

You see what you have done to my toe." You see, they say that if something bad is done to you accidentally by your friend, you don't see any infraction.
