The Flea Theater

I think I've just accumulated more knowledge and more experiences and have failed more and tried things.

with these two amazing actresses and thinking like, I gotta get them in their bodies.

How am I gonna do that? And working with Jim Simpson, who continues to be a mentor of mine to this day, just thinking about like what I could do in a warmup to get them to feel like sisters, to get these like New York actresses to feel like they were living on this Colorado ranch.

If they are an actor who wants to direct, they may have access to directors or they may have access to those people in a way because they've been actors in those spaces.

Yeah.

I came up at the Flea, and so there were lots of opportunities to assist there for no money, but you were getting incredible practice.

I think if you're coming at it from a technical perspective, coming in through stage management is also a valid way, I think, of being in the room and learning.
