[upbeat music] Hello, and welcome to Talk 90s To Me, where we start writing for the NME when we're still at school, do the first-ever UK piece on the Chicago house scene in 1986, end up as editor of The Face right at the start of the '90s, where we not only make Kate Moss a cover girl for the Summer of Love, we battle through a court case against Jason Donovan, of all people, and shift The Face from '80s style mag into on-the-scene street reporter for rave, the Balkan War, and Britpop.

So we are here to talk about The Face, which is obviously an interesting and, like, seminal magazine, I would say, actually.

I mean, much as I love Select, I would say more than Select.

If you notice, I have hair then, so things have changed.

I'm holding The Face magazine, which is no longer around, but, you know, that magazine kind of captures...

The essence of the times I grew up in London in the 80s and 90s, in my teenage and 20s, which captures music, fashion, partying, and everything that goes associated with all of that.

I loved all of that.
