The Expendables

All right, a few good shows happening this weekend.

Starting with tonight, if you want to look or go check out some American reggae rock, The Expendables and Chad Tepper, Matt and Zach, and DJ Jimmy Djembe are playing over at the Launchpad.

So that's going to be a pretty good show.

I know The Expendables come through here a few times and put on a pretty good show.

Here's a good one, too.

And this place, man, the National Hispanic Cultural Center, they're presenting The Wailers.

Obviously, none of them ever happened.

And, you know, there's always spoken about Travolta maybe being in one of the Expendables movies.

But I just find that fascinating, that kind of, that interest in any three, putting these two together.

Did they get on then? Stallone clashed with a lot of people famously.

There's action.

People do get injured, but not in a gross and gory Expendables head exploding kind of way.

There's the Russians versus the Americans, but then there's a little bit of modern day twist on that assessment about who's the good guys and who's the bad guys.

There's a ridiculous chase scene.

This feels like a streaming movie that has somehow escaped into cinemas.

And with a director whose previous movies are Need for Speed and Expendables 4, I'm not going to lie, even with a Cineworld card, I think I'll be waiting for streaming to catch up on this one.

Even the poster looks like AI said, I'll do it, don't worry about it.

Anyway, in case you care, Runner is now shockingly in cinemas.

And it's really, it really does what they do well.

and has them all almost like, this is like the Expendables of the British actors of the 50s.

It's like they're all in it and you go, brilliant.

This is like Ealing and Gainsborough.
