The Exorcist: Martyrs

Ooh, the trailer for, um-

Exorcist Martyrs.

They changed the title.

Right.

Are you gonna end it or not? [laughs]

[laughs] Yeah.

And then of course, Exorcist Martyrs.

Uh, there's a horror movie called River, which I think there's a trailer out for, which stars that chick from Happy Death Day and Mia from Evil Dead.

Uh, so we, right when we got on last week, we were talking, and it didn't happen while we were on because of course that happens to us all the time.

But the other big thing that I thought was good was the trailer for The Exorcist: Martyrs.

Another Mike Flint- yo, this guy is crazy, Mike Flanagan project So Mike Flanagan, in addition to writing Clayface, making a Carrie series, is also releasing a new Exorcist reboot because Exorcist True Believer was just babbage.

That was before we knew, I mean, we were given, what's his name, David Gordon Green, all these projects, and then the two other two Halloween movies sucked, and then Exorcist sucked.

That's cool.

Universal has released the first trailer for Exorcist: Martyrs, Mike Flanagan's reboot of the franchise.

Scarlett Johansson, John Leguizamo, Chiwetel Ejiofor, J- Jacobi Jupe star, and it reaches theaters March 12th, 2027.

Matt, I'll talk about it.

[laughs]

Great trailer.

#Tooscary.

Uh, it was too scary, for sure.

So excited.

Speaking of religious films, how fucking good is that Exorcist Martyrs trailer?

Dude.

The Exorcist Martyrs trailer is magnificent.

Yeah.

It's a, it's a piece of art.

It's not like he shies away from going dark.

I mean, he fucking murdered a kid in Doctor Sleep in one of the most horrific sequences you're ever gonna see.

[laughs] Uh, okay.

So as far as, uh, just a little bit of a news here, I had, uh, The Exorcist Martyrs trailer.

So JR, he wants to ignore this, but he can't, 'cause he loves Mike Flanagan, right? So, [laughs] yeah.

I don't know.

[laughs]

And I, I've, I've watched a few just, like, not great TV shows kinda recently, so I'm like, "Maybe I give myself a break on mediocre TV."

Well, Martyrs is a film, to be fair.

Well, I was talking about Carrie, sorry, not-

We got a new trailer, new poster for The Exorcist.

We got a new title, The Exorcist Martyrs, starring Scarlett Johansson and John Leguizamo.

Chitator Edgifor, I believe, is in there as well.

It looks, and Mike Flanagan is also directing this, it looks very different than The Exorcist.

Usually there's a new trailer or something, but I don't think there's even anything...

Oh, the, um, Mike Flanagan Martyrs trailer, we've now seen it.

Last time it had not come out yet.

Oh, that's true.

I haven't watched it yet.

The, uh, Exorcist Martyrs, which is directed by Mike Flanagan, dropped a trailer, and it looks like they're very much attaching to and, uh, basing it a lot on Exorcist III, so it's not gonna be, like, so Exorcist I heavy.

It's gonna be more, like-

Yeah
