And now that we're talking about it too, man, I love David Gordon Green a lot, but I'm having a real hard time with what he's doing these days with his horror movies.

So I don't think that Exorcist Believer did anything, helped anybody.

I guess it helped get Mike Flanagan on board, who I...

That is, yeah.

Yeah, I thought, again, same expectation kind of comparison you're making, where I was more positive on it.

And I kept comparing it to Exorcist Believer, where I didn't like the film, but I liked the house.

So I was really hopeful for that.

And I think coming out of opening weekend, it is hitting about where Exorcist Believer was for me as well.

I wasn't like super hot on it, but it wasn't in the bottom of the pack for me.

I do think that there are really cool moments in the house.

It's very early on, and I know that we can change our opinions, but 35 is a very solid year from top to bottom, and I was so worried coming out of 34 for very obvious reasons that this would not fulfill what I want, but I had fears.

34 was a big year.

[laughs] Yeah.

Uh, Exorcist Believer.

Believer, yeah, yeah.

Which it was not as bad as people fucking made it out to be.

It could've been about 20 minutes shorter.

I just, I think it, it's probably gonna have that Exorcist Believer effect where we didn't like the film, but the house is gonna hit in a way because they can do that.

We know the creative team is capable of that.

So that's kinda why it's not at nine or 10 for me.

... and turn it into something great.

Like, The Exorcist Believer movie was not my personal cup of tea, and I know it wasn't-

... super well received.

And I know we mentioned Evil, Evil Dead Believer.

Jesus.

The Exorcist Believer-

The book of the dead, you know, you hear the, like the chanting of like, I think that they can make this into a really good house.

I think this is going to be, like you said earlier, like Exorcist Believer, how the movie was kind of like, oh, it was okay, but the house was fantastic.

So, but I also think the scare actors pulled a lot of weight in Exorcist Believer.

They kind of nailed that.

So I'm excited to see what they do with Evil Dead Burn.
