when you hear things like, you know, Driller Killer and that, and you see the video box cover, because I remember the video box cover of Driller Killer because a guy had a shop in town and in a case under the counter he had all these banned videos just on display.

Yeah.

Like, you know, that's kind of bold.

Have I done this? I'd go out, like, oh, that's a bit wrong.

yeah so it was funny and then when they did get banned he did actually have a bit of a he was risking it when you think about it because people are going to jail for owning these films they might not distribute them but he did have a little bit of a shall we say under the counter service that you could you could access if you were one of his trusted video club members

yeah it's I have a distinct memory of being a young child when the video nastiest thing came in and obviously on the news they showed you the covers to Driller Killer and Cannibal Holocaust and all these horrible looking things so I always assumed Evil Dead was that then in early 2000s I finally watched Army of Darkness on the sci-fi channel I fucking love the sci-fi channel because I love I've always liked Bruce Campbell he popped up in things throughout my life yeah And I remember, pretty sure Movies, Games and Videos, Army of Darkness was talked about on an episode of that.

Right.

And then he made Driller Killer, which is I would like to watch because it's just nasty and violent and free.

And then he makes this movie.

Um, and, um, it's, it's, it's very campy in the great way, you know, in a great way.

In, in, uh, in the sense that it, it follows somebody who is, uh, well, the, the Driller Killer, which by the way, S-tier killer name, is the killer of this franchise.

Um, ex- except in this one, for most of the movie, he's a figment of a survivor's imagination.

It's like a whole PTSD thing, PTSD thing going on.

Um, it's a lot of fun.

It's very campy.

It gets insane, so much to the point that the Driller Killer stops to perform a musical number while change- chasing the file- final girl.

'Cause-

Of course, it's one of the original video nasty movies.

It's pretty much one of the movies that kinda, that and, uh, the cover of Driller Killer is what started that whole, uh, thing in the UK.

I mean, it- it- it's censored, uh, it's still censored in several countries to this day.

It's, like, you, you can't even, uh, like, show it, uh, at all.

I'm kind of, my friends are full, I think, but I try and, you know, get the old ones that have left off and keep that rolling.

I'm supposed to be doing a Driller Killer 2 in October.

So we'll see about that.

The Driller Killer was good, but Driller Killer to me was a very kinda ugly, kinda plotless movie.

And this movie is a little bit more focused, I think, and I think it's still very much in the same tone as Dr- of Driller Killer, which is, like...

Like, was very much that was her, her mold.

Um, but she's really electric in this movie, this kind of cipher character.

Um, I, I, you know, I, again, I liked Driller Killer, but Miss 45 to me was kind of, really blew me away, so I'd say check it out.
