The Don Lane Show

Well, you all remember Don Lane, a beloved figure of Australian television's Golden Age.

As host of The Don Lane Show, he was one of Australia's biggest TV stars, larger-than-life showman and institution in the 70s and early 80s.

He passed away in 2009.

Well, now Don's son, PJ, has followed in his footsteps as an actor and an entertainer, and he joins me in studio now.

I suppose I got to live it in real time, which is why the massacre affected me so much and why it was such an honour to be able to, I suppose, give back in a way and be the reader of your book.

We were so honoured to have you do it.

Now, it's 70 years of Australian television, I suppose, and TV Week did a poll of the top uh 70 tv shows voted by the public and of course your dad's tv program the don lane show made it onto the list i mean it's no wonder when you look back and you see moments like this Might just have a look at another one as well.

Have a look at this.
