The Dice Man

I'm just gonna go with whatever the world presents me, which doesn't always have, like, positive, you know, incarnations.

In the 1970s, there was a novelist by the name of Luke Rhinehart, whose real name is George Cockcroft, that was his pen name, who wrote a novel called The Dice Man.

The n- the idea for The Dice Man being that he would roll a dice at e- every opportunity he could to give himself six different possibilities as to how he would play a certain situation.

So many people sort of thought that it was like a, an, just a novel, just something that had been made up.

George Cockcroft described that one night when he was at college, he and his friends used a quirk to decide what they were going to do that night, and it would sort of roll between, you know, doing s- just going out to a bar, meeting up with other people, all the way to, like, really kind of mischievous pranks.
