They're kind of going in that artistic metalcore sort of route.

I got that and...

What was it? Yeah, The Devil Wears Prada was, like, one of the first albums that I ever got off, like, LimeWire.

Like, the scene was crazy, dude.

But, you know, Attack! Attack!, you know, Delware's Prada are kinda like some of the forefathers-

... of that, and they had al- they were already, you know, well ahead of us, but all of us looked up to them, and they were from Dayton, I believe.

Hmm.

And it felt like it w- could help me process things.

And then I found, you know, like, emo music, and I found, uh, Underoath and, like, you know, Prada and, and that kinda stuff, and I, uh...

It was like, oh, it's, it, it's as if they're portraying this feeling I have-

They're doing so well at the moment.

Then I've got Devil Wears Prada, I wouldn't mind seeing.

POD as well, but I did see them back in 2006 at a little festival called Edgefest back in New Zealand.

A radio station ran that festival.

He injected humor into songs by wrapping the I'm in my room and I'm making noise vibe found in early hardcore while keeping a sense of irony with lyrics about skate culture, broken phones, and teen angst.

Baksh, meanwhile, played what could be considered metalcore guitar, mixing power chords, palm muting, and melodic solos, something that later would become a staple in bands like A Day to Remember or The Devil Wears Prada.

Together, they built a sonic landscape where the bassline often followed Whibley's vocal melody rather than just locking with the drums.

This approach made the rhythm section sound more dynamic and less staccato.

And I love the variety that that adds.

And almost as a counterpoint to the Devil Wears Prada feature on another track, which is kind of this high intensity emotional thing as well, which is...

I think a brilliant addition to that song.

What, what went into that feature coming on for this album as well?
