The Day My Bum Went Psycho

And, uh, none came, and I thought-

I should, [laughs] I should point out this, that was the follow-up to The Day My Bum Went Psycho.

That's right.

Yes.

And I thought, "Oh, at last, people are getting that I'm working in a genre of humor and, uh, nonsense humor," and, uh, and they're just seeing my new titles and rolling their eyelids.

So this one did catch me a little by surprise.

Oh, yeah, The Day My Bum Went Psycho, such a classic.

I remember that got banned at a few places, too.

I can't remember now.

Um, but the connection there for me, of course, is that I was the narrator of all the, all the Andy Griffiths books, in- including the Treehouse books, the Just series, The Day My Bum Went Psycho, uh, Zombie Bums From Uranus.

Ah.

My goodness, I am here, and w- I'm in the presence of royalty.

It could have been Danny Champion of the World by Roald Dahl.

Or it could have been The Day My Bum Went Psycho.

It could have been anything at all.

But if you'd like to tell me your favourite kid's book, picture book would be a great one to hear from you, given the nature of the man who passed, 133693.

Um, I don't want to pick any favorites 'cause I kind of can't remember them enough.

But some of the books and authors that I really loved as a kid, uh, include the Keys to the Kingdom series and all Kingdom series by Garth Nix, um, the Artemis Fowl series, uh, Percy Jackson, uh, the Edge Chronicles by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell, His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman, and then some rogue choices like the Jiggy McCue series by Michael Lawrence and The Day My Bum Went Psycho by Andy Griffiths.

Lovely.

If you'd like to win a copy of Cinnamon Crumb, wait until the end of the show to find out how you can.
