The Cruel Prince

They are the highlight of that movie for me.

The Spiderwick Chronicles children's book series by Holly Black, author of The Cruel Prince and of the book series Tithe.

Oh, yeah, that's right.

I love Holly Black so much.

Yeah.

So it's funny you mentioned that because I'm like doing a quick scroll through Goodreads and it seems like the people who didn't like it really love The Cruel Prince.

So it must be very, very different.

So the people who just really love that series just did not like this.

Right.

yeah i'm just also so in like if anyone out there loves the series the cruel prince like that's like very authentic to like fairy folklore and that shit is like twisted but like fascinating twisted and uh so that's where i'm thinking of like fairies not as much like even though i love the light and airy and like elegant ones

too what's it called The Cruel Prince.

The Cruel Prince.

By Holly Black.

Okay.

which is like none of these energies are like i might drown him but i also feel like i still feel like

these i think the mermaids aren't intentionally drowning people yeah she's just like you know i want him oops i drowned him

Um, so that's exciting.

I have no idea if it has anything to do with her other series or anything like that.

No clue.

Yeah, I think she just gave us like the title page draft- Mm-hmm ... basically, so that's exciting.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Uh, did you see that your favorite series ever, The Cruel Prince, is getting adapted [laughs]?

That will be good.
