So, so I don't know which order to do this in.

The Cricketer broke the story on Saturday.

Contrary to Middlesex's follow-up statement which said they only found out about the story on Saturday, the Cricketer told Middlesex about this story or that they had this story on Wednesday.

Um, so let's nip that bit in the bud first.

There were, there was a four-day lead up from the Cricketer going to Middlesex with this story.

Now, how long Middlesex knew before that, I don't know, but let's not pretend here that, that [laughs] the, the Cricketer found out before the club 'cause that's not how these things work, um, quite obviously, particularly in the case of a club captain.

Um, Dplooy's also been particularly open for essentially his full three years at Middlesex, and I suspect, um...

Well, and in fact, well, before that, I, I dug out an interview that I did with him during his time at Derbyshire.

Reality is, you get to this point in the season and you look at how tight it is, well, how tight it appears anyway, but you're still, I'm always left with this thing of like, yeah, like Dan Worrell tells the cricketer that Surrey can still win the title, but Surrey have won one game this season.

So it's not as simple as to go, well, we've only got a piece together of five wins in a row.
