The Cricket Society

And I think it's important to keep in touch with the people that you know at your university.

at your club at your county we have get-togethers I'm a Surrey fan as you know we have a get-together once a month throughout the winter months so we all get together as a pub lunch and that could be anything up to sort of 30 or 40 of us so that's a nice thing so you get to see everybody every now and then I'm a member of the Cricket Society they do some really really good events I live just outside London so I'm lucky in that respect but they do stuff in Bath they do them at Edgbaston And there are other similar organisations or other cricket society type organisations that do events where you get a speaker who is a former player or an author and they can be really enjoyable.

I'm quite envious of some of the counties who have walkers and talkers events.

And I know that includes Gloucestershire because Andy Brassington there started these events during COVID.
