The Conners

Um, and I feel like in that situation, that is also very, um, I don't think, I don't think that was very realistic either is what I'm saying because, um, why would everybody who needed those jobs so desperately quit because she had an issue with the boss? I mean, they all didn't like him, but it seemed like, you know, didn't matter who the boss was.

They didn't like the boss, you know? Um, we'll talk more about the Connors later, but In The Conners, coincidentally, Darlene winds up working for Wellman Plastics as well, as does Becky.

And we see the same type of thing play out where Darlene is the boss and no one likes her.

And she doesn't care because she just is only concerned with forward or upward movement in her career.

She doesn't really.

So anyway, that is all to say that it doesn't seem to matter who the boss is.

They're all going to be unhappy in some way because they're doing this job that is a menial job in their minds, right? And they place all of this pressure on their children, the Conners do, to go to college and get out of this system.

Right.

And she's carrying a knife and covered in blood.

And, you know, it looks to to this innocent neighbor, Kathy, who's never experienced Halloween with the Connors before.

Like Roseanne just killed her husband.

Right? Roseanne looks like she's about to murder her, but then suddenly Dan is behind her, very much alive.

Right, it's getting there.

Yeah.

So he's going to introduce to Connors, and he's not very thrilled about it.

Dan ends up playing a dead Ben Trillquist, and Roseanne is a doll.

I mean, can you imagine you They owe their whole career to her, and they're so woke that they just turned their backs so they didn't lose their jobs.

And then they renamed the show The Conners.

And then she walked away because the network was basically, if you don't walk away and sign everything away, we're just going to cancel the show and put everybody out of work.

And she's like, well, I don't want that to happen.

She also discussed the pain of being canceled out.

of her own show, The Conners, over the joke about Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett now that is making three-quarters of a million dollars a year running the Death Star Museum dedicated to Barack Obama while underlings are getting paid so little they have to form a union.

Classy lady there.

So anyhow, apparently this is something that is going to launch next year as not just the show itself, but Just the News launching a Just the Network program programming platform as well.

It wouldn't stay in one place.

What made me really sad, though, is that I heard John Goodman If you watch The Conners, it doesn't sound like him no more.

His voice is complete.

You know John Goodman's voice.

And Fred Flintstone.

You know who he is instantly.

And when he's been doing The Conners, and I don't know if that's ended now.

I see a lot of clips on TikTok of it.

What did it change into after Roseanne left?

The Connors.

Yeah, yeah, the Connors.

She was on there too.

She's a veteran of a lot of different shows.
