uh tomorrow we're going to go to the pool and celebrate the end of uh the summer um and uh the beginning of uh of of not summer uh and we'll see how that goes how about i've just

looked i've just looked it up tom and it's the chats and yes they are the chat awesome band they are an awesome band so yes uh you you missed out

yeah i'm really feeling bummed that we were late and everyone was like man

did you see that

but as far as, um-

'Cause you're touring with The Chats now, my mind goes to the newer bands, right? The top five-

Yes, newer bands, you know, Amyl and the S- and the Sniffers.

Yeah.

You know?

Yep.

And, uh, and The Chats were one of them.

I, I fought hard to get The Chats on this tour, uh, 'cause I wanted an opening band that was gonna make a lot of ruckus, so people would know what they're in store for for the night.

Mm.

But the band that I wanna highlight here is a band called The Chats, and we've been running these A Case For Riot Fest promos for the last month.

When we go to commercial break, you hear my stupid voice go, "Hey, you should watch this band."

[laughs]

One of those bands is The Chats, and I've always said-

It was great seeing them on the same night as The Hives, where The Hives, when you see them, they're in these light-up suits and they're clapping, and they kind of have an Axl Rose-like stage presence.

Read your email, responded to your email.

You want me to review the chats.

I was listening to the chats at work.

And what was a bit cute was there were two girls at my work who were like, we love the chats.

I was listening to them and I was like, these kids are, first of all, hilarious and they're just a fun time.

I think my favourite one is Drunk and Disorderly was my favourite song.

That's all right.

That's okay.

And there is a hit song to go along with your cuppa and sausage roll.

In 2017, the Aussie punk band The Chats released released a three-minute music video on YouTube.

It cost them less than four bucks to make.

Dave Grohl and Iggy Pop are both big fans.

So definitely would want to see their set.

And then I this is this is a conflict block burning airlines the chats and brian fallon i guess pretty time frame um burnt airlines jay robbins um huge fan of him especially some of his early work with government tour of the U.S. Love them to death.

I know they're a little bit cheeky and, you know, they're an acquired taste for some, but never saw them live.

So, man, to see them in a half-hour set, I'd imagine that's just going to be balled out.

Descendants, you know, I will say, you know, like Bad Religion, we've talked about this before, you know, they play, unfortunately, probably a little bit more than they probably should.

You know, those slots should probably go to somebody else.

I get it with Descendants this year because they're on a tour with Social Distortion in the chats.

so it just makes it easier plus you know they are doing a full album play everything sucks is a great album even though you know i mean those in the know know that that's actually an all album and not a descendants album um and that's why it's a good descendants album because it's an all album but we'll get into all versus descendants another time because that's another one of those uh jason gets in trouble when he opens his mouth comments but um it's true uh But that's okay.
