The Challenge: Battle for a New Champion

We, we can't unhear that.

And Dev, this would be like when you came in on Battle for a New Champion, and you won that kinda like counting thing, and as soon as you're done your interviews are just like, "I knew I was winning this from the bag.

Everybody underestimates me for my strength, speed, agility, endurance, and I just proved all the haters wrong and doubters wrong" that your boy is fast, strong, agile.

[laughs]

That was Battle for a New Champ, right?

Battle for a New Champion.

Yeah, I

love that.

I don't always love when it's happening.

But we just had it on Battle for a New Champion with Norris beating Kylan and Horacio.

It was happening on the original Gauntlet and Inferno.

There is a history to it.

I kind of always have a good time for the most part.

There is, I will say, even watching some of the underrated seasons, like I think 39, Battle for a New Champion was, I think, They knew they were saving in so many ways, both budgetarily, everything.

They knew they were saving up for 40, the names they were going to bring in for that.

Even watching Battle for a New Champion back, it plays well, like, especially as a binge.

Like, even though there aren't a lot of, like, the marquee names there, like, Narisse, like, she makes her name in that show because, like, she and Olivia together with Michelle and, like, it...

Watching it back, it still works.
