Okay.

Um, the opening paragraph of Call of Cthulhu, he talks about how what is gonna be the catalyst for the world either going mad or entering into a new dark age is that years and years and years' worth of dissociated knowledge is gonna cohesively start coming back together.

And it, and it talks about how all of the sciences straining in their own directions have hitherto [laughs] harmed us little because things that were once cohesive have become fragmented.

They got shattered, and they, they've spun out into their own orbits.

I only know that because of the video game that's based on it, but it's not that one.

Lovecraft's most famous works emerged during the mid-1920s and early 1930s.

The Call of Cthulhu, published in 1928, introduced readers to the tentacled Great Old One sleeping beneath the Pacific Ocean.

It wasn't an immediate commercial success.

Lovecraft never achieved financial stability.

Subsequent authors helped preserve and expand the mythos.

Filmmakers found rich ground in his cosmic dread.

Reanimator, The Dunwich Horror, The Call of Cthulhu, Color Out of Space.

Each adaptation brought new audiences into Lovecraft's universe.

Just an old second hand.
