That's awesome.

That's really been the thing that's impressed me in this era of my life is that I was on the festival circuit in the '90s, and everyone was an asshole because, uh, Clerks and Brothers McMullen had made every, every idiot, uh, young person think, "Oh, I'll just make a feature film for 20,000, and then I'll get a meeting with the Weinsteins and, and be rich for the re- and then I'll buy one of those big homes." So everyone's making films for the wrong reasons back then, and they were all unfriendly towards each other on the festival circuit.

And maybe it's because we have our quality first ethos, but five, 10 years, I can't remember a real jerk.

Yeah, there was, there was none of that sense of, like, competition there that you can sometimes still, uh, feel.

I'm pretty sure that they had a lot to do with Eddie Burns, you know, made Brother McMullen.

And for sure, she's yeah.

And it's like Eddie Burns was none of these guys, you know, another Irish Catholic asshole from Long Island like me.
