The Brickfields

It's a big sort of story between two parts.

We're now diving now into when Dan leaves the Brickfields, heads on his way to Bristol and... and tears it up in the premiership.

Then we've got training camps of England and then we're going to finish off with Dan's all-time 15 dream team of players that he has played alongside.

Enjoy.

Me and my beautiful wife, Olivia, have been to.

And one of them was the Brickfields.

I made a match day program.

So I'm going to put that out on the socials just to share that with you guys.

Don't ever change that.

So in that season, that was the last season at Beacon Park before they moved to Brickfields as well.

what what do you remember sort of the buzz around that or the excitement and we spoke before we came on about a bit about beacon park like what are your memories of beacon park and actually making that transition to the brick fields as well

beacon park was it was like because it was on a slow the bottom side down by the road was mud was mud and we used to have to get up um Some days and Graham would be like, oh, it's going to rain at 9am.

I think they maybe sold the ground as well, built houses on it, which is what a lot of teams did.

And obviously got that money to invest in the team or whatever.

But Brickfields is a, is a great piece.

I mean, I like Beacon Park.

He was our co-captain, Jack Alton.

So after all that, I got up early on Saturday and drove all the way down to be back in time, to be back at the Brickfields.

And wow, it was great to be back at the Brickfields.

It's been a long time.

I had a lovely trip to Swansea the other week.

I had a great trip up to the Rock to watch Rossum Park.

But Brickfields, it's good to be home.

It's good to be back.

He has a background of, he's played for Esher at hooker, and looking at some, uh, some posts about him, he is described as a quick and dynamic front row who scored many a try for Esher down in National League 2.

More recently, he has featured for the Royal Marines in back row, and, uh, recently played against the Medics at the Brickfields at number eight, and scored a try and was Man of the Match.

So another addition, but yeah, another one in the back row.

We're looking pretty stacked back there.

Last week was 1 hour 12 minute, I believe.

But, um, yeah, much more food to think about.

Hopefully see as many of you down the Brickfields this coming Saturday against the Cornish Pirates.
