The Bracebridge Dinner

And speaking of things that us true fans appreciate, I'm really good with the transitions here today.

Let's move along to my all-time favorite episode, and I know many other people's favorite episodes, the Bracebridge Dinner.

This is another episode where everything that happens can only happen on Gilmore Girls.

It's quirky to the nth degree, and in that way, hilarious.

It brings everyone to the table, literally, from all of the Gilmore Girls worlds, and it's incredibly seasonal.

You may be thinking, but what book on this episode is so iconic? Well, fun fact, did you know that the Bracebridge Dinner is inspired by Christmas celebrations at the Bracebridge Hall in a collection called The Sketchbook of Jeffrey Crayon by Washington Irving? I actually only recently learned this, I think last year, when I was compiling a Bracebridge Dinner post.

And that was one of the later additions to my book, The Unofficial Guide to the Books on Gilmore Girls, where I go episode by episode with my curation of 475 plus books I found on the show, which I think is bigger and better than any I've seen on the internet.

I'm pretty sure I've got more than 100 you won't find elsewhere, including this one.

That, that episode from season one is in my top five still.

Which one? Bainbridge? Is that the one?

The one where they all-

That is.

Bainbridge is season two.

Bainbridge din- where they're all eating together at Stars Hollow.

Yeah.

That one.

yes Which one is it? You don't have to know the season and the number, but.

It's called the Bracebridge Dinner.

Okay.

It's a very town.
