Um, and I do feel, um, that me and a, and a few other people were very responsible for that change.

I remember, um, being called by the bookseller.

They link, they c- they listed me as, like, the most transparent agent, um, [laughs] which, which could be seen as a bit of an insult, but actually it was, it was all about I wanted to teach writers, um, and I went to lots of festivals to do this.

I wanted to show them what it was like being an agent.

We're coming towards the end of our time, so as a, a final question from me, um, and it's about awards, which you hear about a lot in terms of, uh, shaping writers' careers.

But I wondered how it worked in the field of literary agents as well.

Um, you have been feted by The Bookseller and, and kind of various other places.

Um, has that, you know, what has that meant to you?
