The Bobby Lees

I didn't go out this weekend, okay? Well, I went out on Thursday to a punk show.

It was a band called the Bobby Lees.

They were so, so good.

It's Lily's sister-in-law is the singer.

[laughs] Speaking of top 10 albums for this year, there was another just before The Wolf.

I played the last song on the A side of the new Bobby Lee's album called New Self.

The song Fifty Foot is a PJ Harvey original, and I think the band do it justice.

You know, c- covering PJ Harvey's intensity is a huge task, but I think the band do it well and, uh, even take it to another level if possible.

Let's see, The Wolf is on the Gunner record label, and the Bobby Lee LP, a nice sea blue shade of vinyl, is on the Epitaph label.

So that set off with a great suggestion from Jer.

Rachel Bolan with the song Rock 'n' Roll Star from his new album called, uh, Gargoyle of the Garden State.
