The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game

As my guests will tell us, the people who tried to resist Doge's slash and burn approach often did so because they truly cared about public service to the American people, and they were brave enough to do so at the risk of their own careers.

Michael Lewis is a journalist and author of books including Liar's Poker, Moneyball, and The Blind Side.

His latest is titled Blockers.

Michael, welcome back to Think.

And easier to break things than to repair them and put something else back in place.

Yes, that's true.

Michael Lewis is a journalist and author of books that include Liars, Poker, Moneyball and The Blind Side.

His brand new one about civil servants pushing back against Doge is called Blockers.

But today, a wonderful writer, probably the best nonfiction writer in America, and one of my old friends, dear friend, Michael Lewis.

He is the author, bestselling of many books, as you know, Liar's Poker, Moneyball, The Blind Side, and Flash Boys.

And he was on the Dish cast four years ago.

I can't believe it was four years ago, but it was.

It's a phenomenal list.

Liars Poker, The Money Culture, Pacific Rift, Losers, The New New Thing, Next, Moneyball, Coach, The Blindside, Home Game, The Big Short, Boomerang, Flash Boys, The Undoing Project, The Fifth Risk, The Premonition, Going Infinite, Who Is Government, and now...

Blockers, all books by Michael Lewis, and he joins me now.

Michael, thank you for coming back to the program.

He is a graduate of Newman High School in New Orleans, author of many books.

You might have heard a couple of them, The Big Short, Moneyball, The Blind Side, and the new book is called Blockers: Rebels in the Deep State, which is out today.

It's Michael Lewis.

What's up, man? Welcome back.
