Yeah, 2025's rated R supernatural horror out of Universal Pictures, The Black Phone 2... joining me to take a look at the black phone 2 i actually know what they they just call it black phone 2 they took the away from the original which is really weird because it was the black phone and now it's just black phone 2 taking a look at this movie with me is the female voice of horror movie mavens it's afterlife alley hello alley what's good

He's not really sure what it's going to be like.

So, of course, people are like, is this going to be Black Phone 3? It didn't really seem like from the one little, you know, what a soundbite quote thing he said, but it could be, I mean, to me, maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like Black Phone 1 and Black Phone 2 kind of had different vibes.

Because, you know, Black Phone 2, no spoilers in case you still haven't watched it, but I feel like it sort of went in a different direction and it kind of had to, whatever, for certain reasons.

So where would they go after this? And with the way the second one ended, maybe they do need to try to figure something out.

And that's kind of neat in ways.

He didn't do

Doctor Strange, and then Black Phone, Black Phone 2, so...

Wait, Doctor Strange? What Doctor Strange? So it's 2016, man.

Yeah, that's true.

The Black Phone 2 one is kind of really nice.

It's a working phone.

Ooh, sick.

Yeah.

So, like, you had the Black Phone 2, which was 100% a Nightmare ...

I, I swear to God-

Forgot to add it, but also I really liked the Black Phone movies.

Yeah, so I liked the Black Phone 2 more than I liked the Black Phone 1, but both of those were just kind of meh to me.

But I did like Obsession, you know, obviously, and I did like Weapons.

I also forgot Pearl.

Yeah, that's hard.

My personal preference is obviously The Black Phone 2.

I feel like it's a far superior movie to Scream 2. fuck um oh i'm gonna i'm gonna go against my opinion and i'm gonna go with scream 2

that's correct 83 versus 72 for the black phone 2 um now's where you're gonna start getting the hump with me halloween 2018 or halloween 2 uh again

I know the answer is 2018.

I just know deep in my bones that 2018 is going to be considered among critics.
