The Bestiary

Even if I wrote 90% of the song, handing off that 10% makes me less valid as a musician.

The song is Serpent and I've picked it because it was the hardest song to write on our album The Bestiary.

Why was it so hard to write?

There were many iterations of the song.

and one thing i speak to a lot of artists about and i'm always really interested about is how do you and especially in this case when all all the members were like about some part of it how do you bring it back from the dead like that what quality about the song where you're like we can't scrap that we have to rework it we have to see this through um because the easiest thing there is to be like let's move on to something else

Right.

Well, I think because we were so close to the end of the album, and the album is the bestiary, so it's all different beasts.

Yeah.
