The Beatles Bootleg Recordings 1963

They recorded Chains for the BBC for at least three shows that we know about: Side by Side, Here We Go, and Pop Goes The Beatles.

A few of them were released in 2013 on volume two of Live at the BBC Volume 2, and that same year on Beatles Bootleg Recordings 1963, which was a digital only release.

And, um, those are some really, really good takes.

I think some of these recordings on the first album were kind of lessened by the pressure of being in the studio and like cutting and pasting elements of separate takes together.
