Yeah, it's something I've been doing for a while and realizing that it was nice when you sort of recommended this, I think, around The Beast to Die, which is this Japanese film, which we're going to spend some time on.

which you've already written about for your sub stack and was on my watch list because it was released via Radiance, this kind of boutique Blu-ray company who I've got quite a bit of stuff from now and they're amazing, particularly for their kind of, yeah, sort of Japanese cinema, sort of cult and sort of crime cinema is amazing.

And realising that a lot of my favourite films are um have this have this kind of trope of the the lone killer in some form um and i was thinking about you know so just a quick list in terms of these the films that come to mind are some of my favorite films ghost dog the samurai point blank the limey history of violence um all have a lone killer in some form who's...

And then you've got almost sort of emotional, I guess, or, you know, ideological dimensions here.

And then interestingly, there's one category I haven't sort of named yet because I think we need to talk about it.

And it's interesting because one of them is with respect of The Beast to Die because I rewatched that.

And obviously you watched it for the first time.
