However, I did get it in the Beano and it's here and I've got a copy of it somewhere.

This is the strange bit.

It was a

child's cartoon comic from the Beano stable.

It was a weekly comic and you'd get...

You'd get your Dennis the Menace, the UK version, not the American version.

D. Watkins, the dachshund.

Can I make a comparison? Right.

The reason you don't see the Beano anymore is the same way that you don't really get proper radio personalities anymore.

Right.

I mean, it's fascinating that, I mean, 2008, it's still a bit of a whiff of stuff, but 2,500 issues.

I just quickly Googled the Beano, which is Britain's longest running comic book, also weekly.

And that is on as of this month.

It looks child-like.

I was going to say it looks a bit like the Beano.

I don't think it really does look like the Beano, but it's

that kind of thing.

It's that kind of thing, but he's got a pig toy.

There's tits, Michael.

There's a lot of naughty things going on here.

It's maybe not so much like the Beano and a bit more like The Viz.

I mean, growing up when we did, there were a lot of cultural institutions in this country that were still going strong.

You know, I remember very specifically 1980, The Beano reached its 2,000th issue, and so they printed a special one, and in it they had pictures, you know, over the last, uh, 42 years of everything.

All these old long lost strips and comics.

And, and then we had the TV 50 thing, which I know I go on about a lot, but it was really important for me, that BBC thing in 1986, because then we were spoiled rotten.
