The Bachelor New Zealand

Now, The Reality Machine is a seven-part podcast with new episodes on Mondays and Thursdays.

And it looks back at all the big ones from our country, pop stars, The Bachelor, Celebrity Treasure Island.

And Dylan's here to tell us more about this podcast.

Kia ora.

And, you know, what it is that audiences get from it and what it delivers in the sort of broader cultural melting pot of the stuff we consume.

Because in the first episode, you even talk about, well, what is reality TV in the sense of like, how do you define it? Because if you think about the shows that might spring to mind for people, it'd probably be things like...

Maths, you know, married at first sight, the bachelor, um, big brother back in the day, you know, uh, Treasure Island, Real Housewives, I could go on.

But then you've also got shows like The Block, Police 107, Motorway Patrol, Border Patrol.

And for you reality fans out there, and I know there's a ton of you, fear not, we're gonna hear from some of the people in front of the cameras.

We're talking The Bachelor with Art and Matilda, The Block with Stacey and Adam, Pop Stars with Jo Cotton, and so many more.

I've got a lot to share.

But it's also possible that I'm a little too close to it all.

I inherited it.

This one?

Tonight, the Bachelor makes his final choice.

How about this?
