The Bachelor

Now, Chrissy, I mean, as we know, you recently appeared, I just mentioned, on the Australian version of The Traders.

You made it all the way to the final, formed a really close friendship with Keira McGuire as well, who we know from The Bachelor.

But in those final moments, this is what I want to talk about now.

Keira ultimately voted to banish you from the game.

So who did you know already? Yeah.

Well, I knew Alex from The Bachelor.

I also knew Josh.

I knew Tully.

Like, we've done,

know, The Bachelor 10 years ago.

She reminds me of my cousin.

Kirby is, of course, a former Australian Survivor contestant, so she knew what she was doing, and she beat out the rest of the cast, even when the rest of her fellow Traitors got exposed.

The other Traitors this season were Alex Nation from The Bachelor, MasterChef contestant Alvin Chua, and comedian Rhys Nicholson.

Honestly, my money was on Kirby from the start.

I just feel like it's hard to beat someone who has the experience of being on a tactical social game like Survivor.

Something that you guys know a lot about is, I guess, mine and Laura's love life, and situation hasn't been quite straightforward.

Laura, obviously, at 31, went on The Bachelor when she met Matt.

I went on The Bachelor at 30.

Obviously, we know how that panned out.

I did not have my happy ending.

Yeah, the real deal [laughs].

See? That's the real real ...

It's a real love story from The Bachelor, Brit.

And initially I was like, "Oh God.

Like, what's this going to be like?" 'Cause Kira and I, we clashed so much on my season of The Bachelor.

We butted heads.

Two very headstrong women.

Every, every show I've been on, like, I've gone in green.

So, like, The Bachelor, I'd never seen The Bachelor when I went on The Bachelor.

I'd never watched that show.

And then, you know, then The Traitors, I'd never seen the show.

... devilish role.

And, you know, that's what I loved about it at the start because I wanted people to see this difference in this 24-year-old girl that went on this show to fawn over this guy.

You know, The Bachelor is like, it's very like pick me.

It's all these girls wanting this guy.

I've got one more question before we get to the quick fire questions.

Obviously, you were on The Bachelor, and now you're on The Traitors.

I want to know what show was more psychologically taxing?

The Traitors.

I think-

And why?

So The Bachelor is, like, you know, you're with, you're with multiple women competing for a male.

So to me it's sort of like, it's a pick-me thing.

Now, just a quick side note, because in a plot twist no one saw coming, and probably a detail only I would pick up on, Belinda Robinson is actually a former reality star herself.

She appeared on Jimmy Nicholson's season of The Bachelor in 2021.

And from memory, she was eliminated relatively early, but she certainly made quite the impression during her quick time on the show with her chaotic antics.

From memory, I think at the time people were even questioning whether this woman was actually a lawyer, I guess because her behavior was so outlandish on the show.
