The fun begins on Friday night at the Astor, Friday 18th of September, and opens around the country really that week and the next week and ends in mid-October.

wow this is very exciting and so tell me how many years has this been running for and what what actually got you involved in the idea of actually you know putting these festivals together

So I'm talking back in the 80s.

They're actually playing Port Fairy Folk Festival as well, randomly.

Tweed Heads, Brizzy, Melbourne, Adelaide and finishing off in Perth at the Astor Theatre on March 18th.

And I love this because they're really leaning into the nostalgia of the 90s by having Ella Hooper from Killing Heidi be a special guest on the headline date.

Now, pre-sale does go on sale today at 9 a.m. in Perth or 11 a.m. if you're over east.

We've essentially, I mean Melbourne has a very good, Melbourne where I'm from has a very good cinema scene but there's a paucity of old cinemas.

I mean people are starting to establish neighbourhood micro cinemas more now but there's essentially only one sort of large-ish single screen cinema left in Melbourne, the Astor, God bless, whereas there's several in Berlin.

So, yes, I mean, it's a great scene and I have been trying to sort of immerse myself in German cinema but there's so much that...

And it's a really fun movie as well.

So you've got people down the bottom and then you've got a balcony.

So it's like a proper theatre.
