The Art of Cricket

Um, didn't get through, um, but got hooked on cricket from that moment onwards.

And I, I guess the message here is that I, I taught myself from there, and I read absolutely everything I could get a hold of Um, when I was about 16, um, one of the guys at the cricket club that I played at gave me, um, an old copy of, um, Sir Don Bradman's The Art of Cricket, which is one of the seminal, um, coaching books, and I read it cover to cover.

Um, lots of photographs in there of images of how he played specific shots.

So I, I taught myself by copying Bradman, um, and later realized that copying and pasting a genius, um, doesn't necessarily work [chuckles] for the rest of us.
