I, I found...

So the one I found actually worked was Silman's, uh, Amateur Mind, but I read that, I read that after Winning Chess Strategies, and I also did the, you know, after the habits and things like that.

So it's quite possible that Yasser's book had seeded things and that then, and that sprouted when I, when I read Amateur Mind.

You ne- you never know, right? This sort of, you know, causal, the cau- cause and effect.

But, um, but yeah, I found Amateur Mind was far more, it, um, relatable and, and, and easy to understand and, and it stuck.

It really stuck, um, for me.

Okay.

And I, I, that's how I feel with master games.

I bought books.

I read Silman's Amateur Mind.

I tried to do a lot of things and it was like a foreign language.

I couldn't speak the language.

I had no idea what they were talking about.

All I remember from the amateur mind was him saying, well, you know, most most amateurs keep playing the same game.

And I think that's what I was doing because I couldn't really see past like, well, I know I'm playing a Sicilian here or I do this there.

And it was really damn frustrating.

One book by Mr. Jeremy Sillman.

I believe it's called The Amateur's Mind.
