The Amalgamation Polka

He was like a, you know, there's a lot of dudes of that age- Yeah ... yeah, he was a huge Civil War buff.

So Steven Wright had also written a Civil War book called The Amalgamation Polka, which I gave to my uncle, and it was a bit of a game of chicken with him, of like many things I would give him he would then say are too weird, which would launch him into reasons why I was too weird and I was never gonna make a living.

You know, et cetera, et cetera.

Uh, but The Amalgamation Polka he loved, and that was kind of the outer edge of his weirdo, weirdo meter, I think.

That's a pretty weird book, really.

Yeah.
