Jim founded Ghostbox with graphic designer and fellow musician Julian House in 2004, initially as a home for their own musical experiments and, over the years, it became the gateway to a peculiar parallel Britain of music.

populated by Bellbury Polly, The Focus Group, The Advisory Circle, Large Plants, Beautified Junkyards and more, an expanding cast of fellow travellers that expanded the scope out beyond Britain too.

Drawing on library music, schools, programmes, public information films and supernatural fiction, with Julian's distinctive artwork binding it all together, Ghost Box and Bellbury Polly help give shape to the musical world that we now talk about as hauntology.
