I watched the TV show about it.

I think it was called The Act.

I watched the documentaries about her like she's that story in general is just intriguing.

And I never really understood all of it.

I believe that's what it is.

Anyway, I can't remember what it's called, like The Act or The Cure.

That was a

sitcom, right?

We're going to talk about a movie in the show, a centralized movie, and then we're going to discuss it.

OK, this one is called The Watchmen, not the show, not the extended version that has like a cartoon in it.

The actual theatrical release of The Watchmen, which to me.

is one of my favorite movies.

So she's like a real person.

I'm going with Dee Blanchard from The Act, which was the TV show based on Gypsy Rose and Dee Dee Blanchard.

So Dee Dee has Munchausen syndrome by proxy and does an entire scam about her daughter's illness and makes her daughter think that she's sick and it's a whole thing and if you've never heard of it just look it up you too will go down a rabbit hole but truly a terrible parent in real life and on the tv show

yeah well and gypsy rose was joey king So there was a lot of good performances in that for sure.

So this is like, uh, we're talking about, like, a Menendez situation here, okay? She was released on parole after serving eight and a half years of her 10-year sentence, and, um, she gained wide- widespread media attention.

Hulu produced a limited series called The Act while she was still in prison.

But in the past, they've a- attended co-parenting therapy in an attempt to deal with conflicts over raising their son.

Um, and so we know that there was issues already.

But now we know that yesterday her ex, Olivier, has been granted temporary primary custody of their son after accusing the actress of physically abusing the boy, not the dad, the boy.

She describes them as entirely meritless, but he was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Berry, which protects both him and their son.
