Thad Altman

That blowing-in-the-wind part is what earned him the nickname The Waffle.

And then from last and least to first and best, current county commissioner, former state rep, state senator, state rep and back to county commission, Thad Altman, uh, probably earned the first nickname on this program and probably, I don't know, in its early iterations.

Might have been at WMEL when I started because Altman was there and active then.

But Thad and I disagree politically on many things.

But Thad also understands and knows how the political world operates He understands there's a level of professionalism that's expected that The Waffle can never attain.

It's not in his personality to do so.

Thad Altman handles political differences like a professional, otherwise he'd have never survived this long.

A lot of his ideas have not been popular through the years, even among his co-legislators in Tallahassee and here in Brevard County.

And then this allegation comes out that there is a hooker named Dahlia somewhere here in Melbourne that I had patronized, but I refused to pay her.

And then it took off on my nickname for Thad Altman, Thad the Impaler, and implied that I was more likely to be the impaler because I prefer to have things impaled into me in ways and places that I don't consider entrances.

And it's like, oh, you've got to be kidding.

Now, I wanted to leave the comments up because, look, I'm a free speech guy.
