Tez Johnson

I will say he was definitely not returning kicks in our game.

I put Tez Johnson on my practice squad early on into the year.

He picked him up, had his revenge game, opening kickoff, took it to my 43, and then was out the rest of the game with an injury.

So maybe we'll see George Pickens back next week returning kicks.

And then Ted Hurst was really good to see, you know, with...

It would be more concerning if he and Tez Johnson had very similar snap counts and routes run.

That would be one thing, but for him to come in immediately without Jalen McMillan active and be that clear number three guy in those three receiver sets, that's very good for his value going forward.

I think I lean towards him being the guy over McMillan, but we'll see how that plays out.

But again, still coulda, shoulda, woulda been a nice 30-yard gain.

And then the Tasmanian Devil, Buccaneers wide receiver Tez Johnson, it was officially ruled a drop on a potential nine-yard touchdown.

He's also, what, five eight, 150 pounds, so wasn't exactly the biggest target in the world.

Outstretched hands.

I'm not being too hard on Tez, but he, if al- also he was a bigger human being, would have been a little bit cooler there.

So George Pickens, Jameson Williams, Chris Olave, Romeo Dobbs, and Tez Johnson, biggest drops of the week Now for the better ball situations, okay? These were guys who were open enough to potentially have a big play.

For one reason or another, the quarterback could not put the football on them, though.

Mafe sniffed it out immediately, and I think Godwin was supposed to crack block him, and he just beat him there, got a hand on, on Tez, slowed him down, and then the rest of them were able to clean it up.

And then I think on the, on the Demetrius Knight fumble recovery, I think Mafe was the one that flushed, um, Baker out of the pocket, and then obviously capping it off with that big sack fumble at the end where he kind of jumped on Baker's back.

Baker Mayfield threw a throw.

threw a touchdown, well, should have had a touchdown to Tez Johnson, right? That was a drop, right? So it's all those things that, yeah, they still scored on that drive, but it ate at the clock to be able to do it two plays later or play later.

So, you know, it's so many little minute things that when you really look back at it and they watch the tape on this, they're going to be like,

damn, we were right there.
