Can you share a moment where using these traits really led to a breakthrough for you?

At McKinsey, a lot of the work I was doing was helping very large companies essentially build new products, new systems when they didn't have the capability themselves.

And one of my earliest projects was essentially with a big pizza company, let's call them.

And we were designing and building a whole new delivery platform.

So essentially something like Deliveroo Uber Eats that allows people to order pizza.

we were essentially told we have all this customer data, but we shouldn't use it to identify customers.

And that was kind of a hard line.
