And they were just about ready to unveil it.

And it had been in process for quite a few years because it was basically created to power the Cessna or the Textron Denali, which is a single-engine turboprop that Cessna built to compete with the Pilatus PC-12 engine.

got a question for you from a historic standpoint.

Yeah, I thought this was pretty good news that apparently the Civil Air Patrol has ordered 21 new Cessnas from Textron.

It's going to be the deliveries are expected to be completed sometime during 2027.

And so I joined Corporate America.

I worked for Textron with Cessna Aircraft and Bell Helicopter.

And I had a great career with them.

And so I... maintain that career until, um, really, uh, just until they either were sick of me, uh, or I found something else.

We had done some small amount of business with them.

over the years, but I never knew really much about it.

And so at first, per policy, I needed to give Textron a chance at it and they passed it up, said, you know, we don't need a machine shop in Piney Flats.

And so I started the conversations with the former owner and got to know him.

Okay.

Never came with all your years of Textron either, huh? Just the regionals.

Not even at a static? Not

even at a static.

We gave them increased funding for crop insurance, Title I funding, corn exports are up double, ethanol exports are up 50%.

So we've delivered for Kansas, an aerospace industry, Boeing, Textron are doing well.

We have one of the strongest economies of my lifetime.

And what Republicans will do is bring the price of gasoline down.

Oh, wow.

Yeah, Boeing's here, Textron, Beechcraft, right?

Yes, sir.

Yep, and thanks to Trump, we've got millions and millions of dollars coming in.

Yeah, a lot of manufacturing coming back, $21 trillion.

A lot of that's

aviation here, right? We are seeing actually with Boeing buying back ends, Textron, Collins.

Which makes

Look at Boeing and Wichita is another one.

They're backed up for about three years, Textron growing.

Trust me, anyone that's building ATMs or F-35s, they're very busy right now.

Can I respond? Yeah,

They brought a ton of airplanes too, but we got to take a helicopter from the conference center over to Henderson.

We saw all the airplanes at Textron, got to see my old stomping grounds.

A lot of my friends still work at Textron.

I got to say hello to all them.

Got to go in the longitude, which I'm type rated on.

1,220 flight test hours.

That's how many hours Textron Aviation has logged putting the third-generation Cessna Citation light jets through their paces.
