Patsy Cline, Texas Ruby, and many more.

Eventually, Grand Ole Opry found another home, but this didn't stop the curse.

It is believed that the curse followed because a large portion of the Ryman Auditorium stage was cut out and brought to the new location.

Jack Anglin wasn't the last Grand Ole Opry performer to die in March 1963.

The next was Ruby Agnes Owen, who was better known to country music fans as Texas Ruby.

She never headlined a major tour or had any huge hit records during her too short career, but she remains one of the most memorable country music stars of all time.

Almost always accompanied by her husband Curly's fiddle, Her deep singing voice and distinctive performing style helped make her special, but her personality was what everyone remembered.

The story goes that a young announcer who worked there named Ronald Dutch Reagan felt the force of her temper one day and was so scared of her that he subsequently left for Hollywood fame.

Ruby's temper and hard-living lifestyle also had repercussions on her music career.

WBAP wanted to hire Texas Ruby and Zeke Clements, but she arrived at a meeting with potential sponsors roaring drunk.

In 1937, Ruby, suffering from a hangover, missed an audition for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that Zeke had gotten for her.
