Earl McGraw

Yeah.

Like Jo- like, it, it was kinda funny, like, some of the other bit parts we really didn't talk about is, like, you know, having Michael Parks in here [laughs] as, uh, Earl McGraw and, uh-

Yeah

... and then having John Hawkes in here before he got...

I didn't even think about this, but the ...

Basically like it's almost like sometimes instead of fan theory, the fans kind of set the canon based on logical like just like facts, like in sequence.

So what basically has come out of that is that the Earl McGraw character, like this movie takes place after Death Proof and after, um ...

What was the other movie he was in? But anyway, like th- like chronologically this takes place after m- like b- after movies that were made after it in real life because that character's still alive.

Yes.

'Cause this is, uh, Earl McGraw is the sheriff-

The sheriff

... that appears in the, uh-

He was in Black Caesar and The Inglourious Basterds.

Michael Parks, who passed in 2017, was the Texas Ranger Earl McGraw.

He was in Kill Bill: Vol 1 and Red State.

John Saxon, who passed away in 2020, was FBI agent Stanley Chase.

All right, 10 major moments.

After a violent robbery in Texas leaves behind a trail of police officers, civilian casualties, uh, the dangerous criminal brothers Seth and Richie Gekko go on the run toward the Mexican border.

While hiding out at a desert motel, a crazed and unhinged Richie brutally murders a store clerk and Texas Ranger Earl McGraw, uh, drawing even heavier police scrutiny.

They hijack the RV of Jacob Fuller, a former minister undergoing a severe crisis of his faith, along with his teenage daughter Kate and adopted son Scott, using them as cover to cross the border.

So the movie starts with laughter over the opening credits as a podcast recording is wrapping up.

An explicitly poorly named podcast at that the nazi party and as our main character wallace is quick to point out it is not spelled like adolf's old crew

yeah yeah

it's n-o-t-n-o-t-s-e-e and i'll explain later for a minute i was like is it supposed to be funny or are they supposed to be assholes and then i was like oh thank god they're supposed to be assholes exactly yeah

I know.

I know.

There's just that little bit of like, oh, man, you see yourself in these characters, and then you immediately, you're like, I don't like you.

I don't like you.
